Qualifications: PA or NP, must have Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience. Will need ACLS/PALS and will need to meet eligibility criteria for Medical Staff Membership in a large hospital system.

Location: Houston – Cypress area.

Setting: Freestanding ER with hospital system affiliation.

Pay: 1099 independent contractor, $85/hr for urgent care experience, $90/hr with EM APC experience.

Hours: 12pm-8pm daily (can be somewhat flexible on request), shifts length may increase if volume continues to increase.

Work environment: work alongside an EM physician at all times, see patients independently with supervision and be able to work-up and diagnose acute complaints, must be able to do minor procedures (laceration, I+Ds, pelvic exams, peripheral venous access, splinting), will always have full hospital system resources for admissions, transfers and follow-up care.
